We stayed at the New Street Luxury Town House in Holt for a few nights as a stopover during our trip along the North Norfolk coast. The owner, Leon, greeted us upon arrival and he has done a fantastic job refurbishing the house with high-quality finishes. The attention to detail was impressive, with thoughtful touches like hooks in the bathroom and bedroom for hanging towels and dressing gowns. The kitchen-diner had comfortable chairs, a welcome change from typical hard-plastic ones. The bathroom had a tall towel rail and a large shower with two shower heads. Parking for two cars was convenient, and there were even coffee pods and biscuits waiting for us. it felt like a home away from home.

Holt itself had everything we needed, eliminating the need to use the car. the added bonus of a parking space behind the house, especially in a place where parking can be tricky like Holt, was fantastic. Tricky parking: The entrance to the parking area at the rear of the property was quite narrow and required some skill to navigate. It was particularly stressful reversing in, and we were grateful to have a car with assisted parking.
